Southside Justice turns 50
In 1973, in response to the growing need for free legal help, a group of socially minded legal volunteers joined together to form the St Kilda Free Legal Service (now Southside Justice)
Sex Worker Legal Program
After advocating for sex workers in St Kilda for over 30 years, we officially launched the state-wide Sex Worker Legal Program with funding from the Andrews Government and the Victorian Legal Services Board.
Launch of our Gender Affirmative Policy
Southside Justice has launched its new Gender Affirmation Policy. A key element of the policy provides 20 days annual gender affirmation leave for staff.
