Working With Us

Southside Justice is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead a new project aimed at strengthening the response to family violence. Funded by the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (VLSBC) for three years, this role will manage and drive the integration of legal services into the Alexis: Family Violence Response Model (A-FVRM), a well-established initiative addressing family violence-related interactions with police and social services.

The A-FVRM, established in 2014, is a partnership between The Salvation Army and Victoria Police, currently operating in Melbourne’s inner-south and Gippsland. In this role, the Project Manager and Senior Lawyer will work closely with key partners, including The Salvation Army, Victoria Police and Gippsland Community Legal Service (CLS), while contributing to the project’s governance through an Advisory Group and ensuring its progress is evaluated independently by RMIT University.

This is a unique opportunity to lead an initiative that will make a lasting impact on families experiencing violence.
