On May 26th, we were proud to welcome 50 supporters, partners and community members for an intimate evening celebrating the work, impact and future of Southside Justice.

The event focused on bringing together people who care deeply about access to justice in the Inner South. More than anything, the night was about people – the relationships, trust and shared commitment that sit at the heart of what we do.
A highlight of the evening was Catherine’s story. Shared through our impact video and in the room with us, her experience was a powerful reminder of why this work matters. Catherine spoke to the strength it takes to rebuild, and the importance of having support that understands your world. It was a privilege to share her story, and we’re so grateful for her trust.
We want to sincerely thank the firms who made the evening possible – Barry Nilsson, Ashurst, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and MinterEllison.
Our thanks also to Small Giants for generously hosting us in such a welcoming space and to Design by Nature for their pro bono support of our impact video.
These supporters made it possible to bring this group together. We thank them for their ongoing trust and commitment to our work.
We’re excited about what comes next, including creating more opportunities to come together, to share stories, and to grow this work alongside the community it’s built for.
