Specialist Family Violence Courts
The Moorabbin Specialist Family Violence Court (SFVC) is one of 13 SFVCs in Victoria. SFVCs are designed to respond to cases related to family violence in a more tailored and supportive way.

Southside Justice Duty Lawyer Service
Southside Justice has lawyers on ‘duty’ at the Moorabbin SFVC. We share this role with lawyers from Peninsula Community Legal Centre and Victoria Legal Aid.
A duty lawyer service ensures that members of the public have access to high quality legal information, advice and representation in court, should they choose.
All of Southside Justice duty lawyers are trained in Safer Families and continually evolve their trauma-informed practice.
